Following the successful inaugural edition of the Dutch Africa Poultry Week in 2025, the NABC is joining forces with Aeres Training Centre International and VIV Europe to launch the second edition of the Incoming Poultry Trade Mission for VIV Europe 2026.
Taking place from the 1st–5th of June 2026, this five-day programme is designed to strengthen Dutch–African partnerships across the poultry feed-to-food value chain. The mission brings African poultry professionals to the Netherlands for a focused combination of trade exposure, knowledge exchange, business matchmaking, and hands-on learning.
A key highlight of the programme is a visit to VIV Europe, the Netherlands’ largest and one of the world’s leading trade shows for animal husbandry and poultry innovation. Delegates will benefit from curated visits to Dutch companies, targeted seminars, and structured networking with industry leaders and solution providers. In addition, the programme includes tailored field visits to DAPP member companies and an applied training day at Aeres Training Centre International, translating innovation into practical, scalable solutions.
With Africa’s rapidly growing demand for animal protein, this mission offers a unique platform to explore investment opportunities, sustainable technologies, and long-term partnerships that support productivity, resilience, and inclusive growth in African poultry markets.
Who Can Apply
The mission is open to poultry professionals from Anglophone, Francophone, and Lusophone African countries, including:
- Farmers and producers
- Industry leaders and policymakers
- Researchers and technical experts
Participation Fee
The participation fee for the full five-day programme is €1,500 per delegate (for more details please check Practical Information tab for Delegate Package).
Application Deadline
Due to visa procedures and programme preparation requirements, confirmed participation is required by the 13th of March 2026.

The Dutch Africa Poultry Platform (DAPP) is a platform that brings together Dutch companies active in Africa’s poultry sector. DAPP members are desirous to contribute to the growth and development of Africa’s poultry sector in partnership with both public and private sector entities across Africa.
