Joy Jubrilla

Joy’s journey with the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC) began in October 2024, when she joined as a Project Assistant for the Africa Insights Desk (A-ID). Leveraging her extensive background in banking, with a focus on business development and Know Your Customer analysis, she contributes to the A-ID team by conducting market research, analysing opportunities, and developing strategies to foster business connections between the Netherlands and Africa. Her responsibilities include mapping market linkages and supporting proposal development for sustainable agriculture and other initiatives.

Joy holds a Bachelor’s degree in French Language from Ekiti State University, and an MBA from Ladoke Akintola University. She is currently completing her Master’s in Governance and Development Policy at Erasmus University. Her diverse education enables her to approach projects with a global perspective, bridging insights from African and European markets.

Being Nigerian, Joy understands the rich potential within Africa’s private sector and is passionate about sustainable development. She believes in ‘Partnerships of Equals’ for impactful change, championing collaborations that drive economic growth and resilience.

Guided by her motto, ‘Innovate and Inspire,’ Joy is committed to creating value at the NABC by connecting businesses and advancing sustainable trade between Dutch and African enterprises.
