Trade Mission: Sustainable Agriculture to Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and the SARA fair

From the 22nd-28th of May 2025, the NABC is supporting the outgoing trade mission to Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, as a joint mission for sustainable agriculture. This includes visiting the Dutch pavilion at the SARA fair!

  • A joint outgoing trade mission to Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana is organized by the Dutch embassy in Côte d’Ivoire, Dutch embassy in Ghana and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). The mission will be from the 22nd-28th of May, 2025.

    For whom?

    This mission is for sustainable and innovative companies and organizations that want to explore their business opportunities in West Africa. The mission is a great opportunity to find cooperation partners or strengthen existing relationships. Dutch start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs, governments and knowledge institutions can participate in this trade mission if they are active in:

    • Horticulture: innovation and sustainable techniques;
    • Cocoa, cashew and mango sectors: local processing and circular economy;
    • Logistics and digital solutions: focused on agricultural chains.

    During the mission you will visit and meet important companies and organisations in and around Abidjan and Accra. The mission offers networking events and 1-on-1 matchmaking. This way you come into direct contact with possible business partners. In addition, there is a two-day visit to the SARA fair.

  • Dutch pavilion at the SARA fair

    The SARA fair is the largest regional fair for agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, forestry and agrifood. The Dutch pavilion will once again show the strength of the Netherlands in the field of agriculture and climate adaptation. The theme of 2025 is the processing of agricultural products, this fits in perfectly with the opportunities for innovative solutions in the focus sector.

  • The costs for participation are € 785 (excluding VAT) per organization. A maximum of 2 people per organization can join.

    This includes:

    • the exhibitor fee of € 285 for the SARA fair;
    • participation in joint programme components (including the conference and the pavilion);
    • joint local transport;
    • local support from the organisation;

    This does not include travel and accommodation costs. Note: The flight between Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana on the 26th of May is also at your own expense.

    In Ghana, the focus is on strengthening the horticultural system, with a special focus on:

    • High-quality plant material
    • Organic fertilizers

    • Sustainable production and processing of food and residual flows
