Aeres

Aeres is a Dutch education and knowledge organization dedicated to the green sector, encompassing agriculture, nature, food, and the environment. With a strong focus on sustainability and practical learning, Aeres supports the development of skills and knowledge across a wide range of industries, including agri-trading, agri-machinery and equipment, agribusiness, horticulture, and livestock. Our motto, Learning by Doing, lies at the heart of our educational philosophy. Our roots lie in agricultural education. We focus on education and research and on sharing and applying knowledge. This is our contribution to the development of future-oriented, innovative professionals. Professionals who are capable of making responsible decisions in a complex world, with a natural talent for acting in a sustainable manner.

International Collaboration

Aeres has been involved in international projects in cooperation with Dutch businesses for decades. These projects are particularly driven by the contributions of Aeres Training Centre and Aeres University of Applied Sciences, and also from Aeres Vocational Education. Through these collaborations, we amplify the global impact of Dutch expertise and knowledge in the green sector.

Professional Training and Development

Aeres offers specialized training and courses for adults and professionals, focusing on agri-trading, agri-machinery, horticulture, feed production, insect breeding and livestock management (poultry husbandry, pig husbandry, dairy farming, etcetera). These programs are designed to upskill or reskill individuals in line with industry demands.

Research and Innovation

Through collaborations with businesses and institutions, Aeres contributes to innovation in areas such as sustainable agriculture, smart farming technologies, and agribusiness practices.
