  • From the 10th–12th of February, an incoming Horticulture and Water Trade Mission from Tunisia is taking place, building on the successful outgoing Dutch trade mission to Tunisia in 2024. With a strong focus on climate-smart agriculture and water solutions, the mission puts the Netherlands’ world-leading horticulture and water expertise firmly in the spotlight.

The visit is designed to accelerate bilateral trade and investment opportunities, positioning the Netherlands as a strategic long-term partner for Tunisia’s horticulture sector. By showcasing the Dutch Triple Helix approach, where government, business, and knowledge institutions work closely together, the mission offers practical inspiration for scalable, sustainable sector development.

Across a three-day programme, Tunisian and Dutch companies will connect through targeted networking, knowledge exchange, and business matchmaking, with a clear focus on translating dialogue into concrete commercial opportunities. The delegation will engage with key stakeholders within the Dutch Horticulture and Agrofood Triple Helix/Topsector Agrofood ecosystem, gaining insight into innovative production systems, water-efficient technologies, and climate-resilient solutions.

A highlight of the programme is a dedicated seminar on the 12th of February, where additional Dutch horticulture and water companies are invited to join. This forum will facilitate high-value exchanges, strengthen regional and international partnerships, and support the development of new business collaborations, contributing to shared ambitions around food security, climate resilience, and water efficiency.

  • Programme will be shared shortly.
