From the 13th–17th of April 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Brussels and the NABC is facilitating a trade mission from Uganda to the Netherlands focused on the agri- and horticulture sectors. This mission will bring together Ugandan and Dutch stakeholders to explore new business opportunities, technical partnerships, and sustainable solutions across key industries such as poultry, dairy, horticulture, and cocoa.
This trade mission offers Ugandan companies a valuable chance to explore the Dutch market and, in doing so, deepen collaboration between Uganda and the Netherlands in the agri- and horticulture sectors.
The Netherlands is a global leader in poultry, dairy, and horticulture thanks to its highly efficient, technology-driven agricultural systems. Despite its small size, it is one of the world’s top agri-exporters, known for its world-class expertise in animal genetics, feed, sustainable dairy production, greenhouse technologies, and integrated supply chain management.
Dutch agribusiness combines high productivity with cutting-edge innovation, strong research institutions, and practical solutions that can be adapted to African contexts. For Ugandan companies, engaging with the Dutch ecosystem offers access to proven technologies, knowledge transfer opportunities, and partnership models that support sustainable growth, value addition, and competitiveness in regional and global markets.
