The Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC) is organising a Netherlands Pavilion at the Sahara Expo in Egypt, alongside Land Water Food Consult (LWFC), the Embassy of the Netherlands to Egypt, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The mission is planned between September 14th and 19th, with 3 days focused on the NL Pavilion and 1 day of field visits. Focusing on climate- and water-smart agriculture and horticulture, the NL Pavilion will showcase Dutch companies and further host 4 distinct seminars to showcase current Dutch technologies and areas for collaboration between the Netherlands and Egypt.
The Sahara Expo is the largest international agricultural fair of North Africa and the MENA region. The successful 2023 edition brought together more than 200 exhibitors from the agri-food sector and 20,000 visitors from 22 countries. For the 2024 edition, we will organise a NL Pavilion in the international part of the agricultural trade fair. This physical location offers space for 15 to 20 Dutch companies or organisations to present themselves, network and share knowledge. You can find more information and register here.
