Mozambique, situated on the southeastern coast of Africa, is strategically positioned with its ports offering easy access to international markets, making it the preferred choice for regional importers and exporters. With its economy experiencing remarkable growth over the last decade, and substantial inflows of foreign direct investment (FDI) into various sectors, especially agro-industry, Mozambique offers ample opportunities for Dutch companies.
To further support the industrialisation plans of the Mozambican government, the Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Brussels and the NABC are hosting the Netherlands-Mozambique Business and Investment Forum in Malietoren, The Hague on May 16th. This one-day event is aimed at promoting economic partnerships between Dutch and Mozambican businesses within the agro-processing sector. Topics of discussion will include investment opportunities in Mozambique, the government’s “Industrialise Mozambique” plan, and building successful partnerships between Dutch and Mozambican companies.
The forum will be opened by Dr. Jorge Fernando Jairoce, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade as the Representative of H.E. Mr. Silvino Moreno, the Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Republic of Mozambique. Register today and don’t miss this opportunity to explore potential collaborations!
