Maloe studied International Relations and Political Science at Amsterdam University College (cum laude) and Emerging Economies and Inclusive Development at King’s College London (cum laude). She wrote her theses about China-Africa relations and regional migration in Africa. 

Since starting her job at NABC in November 2016, Maloe has joined 7 (trade) missions to Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso and Benin. In addition, she led two major trade missions with more than 100 entrepreneurs from Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso to the Netherlands in October 2017 and June 2018. She also organized business seminars for Niger; Senegal, Guinea-Conakry & Cabo Verde; and Sierra Leone & Liberia. Together with her colleague Marina Diboma she launched the annual Francophone Africa Business Forum (FAB Forum) since 2017, with the aim of promoting business opportunities in French-speaking African countries amongst the Dutch private sector. Through these experiences Maloe has built a strong network and good relations with many Dutch companies active/interested in French-speaking (West) Africa. 

Before joining NABC, Maloe spent time in Tanzania (where she worked at eMJee Development Consult and UNESCO), Kenya, Benin, Togo and Ghana. She lived in Cotonou, Benin, between 2015 and 2016, during which time she elaborated an in-depth study and engagement strategy of the youth situation in Benin for the Dutch Embassy. She was invited to present the results of her study at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands. 

Maloe is fluent in Dutch, English and French.
