Femke Dekker is part of NABC’s team as Programme Manager. She is, among others, responsible for managing and coordinating programs in the poultry sector as well as NABC’s role in the insects for feed programme in Nigeria.
Over the past 5 years, Femke Dekker has worked in Ghana and held various positions in both the private and public sector. Her experience in the field of sustainability, agricultural supply chains and digital innovation translates into her day to day work at NABC.
Before moving to West Africa, Femke worked in the Central African Republic as Field Coordinator for the Dutch development organisation Cordaid as well as for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands. In her role as Policy Officer for the Department for Stabilisation and Humanitarian Aid, she coordinated the reporting of results to the Dutch Parliament and supported the organisation of a trade mission to Rwanda and DRC.
Femke obtained an MSc. in Human Geography and a postgraduate diploma in international development. She is value-driven as well as solution and results-oriented. Her passion is to co-create added value and generate impact in various sectors.
Femke Konatey-Dekker is NABC’s first point of contact for questions relating to Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana.
