After a period of instability in Mali and with positive economic prospects, NABC was very happy to have the opportunity to work with the Dutch Embassy in Bamako, Mali to organize a trade mission to Bamako, Mali from November 3-6, 2013. The focus of the mission was on agriculture and our delegation (of 11 companies) consisted of companies active in poultry, livestock, vegetables, fruits, consultancy and machinery (not limited to the Agriculture sector).
Although large military troops were deployed specifically in Mali’s northern region at the time of the mission, the delegates were positively surprised by the work ethic, peace and business climate in Bamako and many of the delegates have acquired useful business contacts and even concrete plans for projects in Mali.
NABC wishes to thank the Dutch embassy in Bamako and API Mali (Mali Investment Promotion Agency) and the participating companies and all other parties involved for their greatly appreciated efforts in making this mission a real success.
