Description

In the autumn of 2013 the Netherlands-African Business Council works closely together with the Royal Dutch Navy and the several Embassies of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to organize a serie of trade missions to West Africa. The Royal Dutch Navy has a military mission called African Winds to support and train local navy in several West-African countries. NABC organized trade missions to this region and Morocco was the first country in this series. With a specific focus on water and port development the delegation of 8 members visited Casa-port and Tanger. Each port is undergoing tremendous developments creating a variety of opportunities for the Dutch private sector. Aboard the ship “HM the Rotterdam” participants such as Port of Amsterdam, Damen Shipyards, Thales and Strukton were able to present themselves during a seminar. In cooperation with the Dutch Embassy and Consulat of Casablanca a large reception was organized.
