Tjalling Yme Wiarda (1964)  is based in Accra and currently holds the General Manager position of the Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Council (GNBCC) since February 2017. He has obtained an MBA (Henley School of Management) and a MA (University of Antwerp) and is a business consultant for companies or organizations that are or want to become active in emerging markets of Sub Saharan Africa. Through his prior job within the West African/ Ghanaian Shea industry, he became an experienced Supply Chain Specialist within the West African commodity industry.

Wiarda is a generalist with a substantial professional experience of over 20 years in General, Operational and Change Management obtained through work and projects with different companies and organizations in Belgium, Ethiopia, Ghana, Tanzania, The Netherlands, and Zimbabwe. Wiarda has 2 studying sons in the Netherlands of 22 and 25 years of age.

Mr. Steve Ocloo, Managing DirectorNkulenu Industries Ltd Mr.

Mr. Steven K. Ocloo was born on 19th April 1961. He studied BSc. Administration (Accounting) at the University of Ghana. He also holds a Diploma in International Marketing at the London School of International Business England. He served as the Finance Administrator and Account Consultant at Nkulenu Industries Ltd for a period of 17 years. Mr. Steven K. Ocloo also worked as a Managing Partner at One Touch Consortium, London. Mr. Steven K. Ocloo is currently the Managing Director and board member of Nkulenu Industries Ltd.

Nkulenu Industries Ltd is a 78-year-old family-owned business and the first Food Processing Company in Ghana with its primary focus in the manufacturing of Ghanaian Foods and Drinks. Nkulenu Industries Ltd is also among the leading Food Processing Companies in Ghana. Mr. Steven Ocloo was decorated with the Most Respected CEO in the food manufacturing category in the Ghana Industry CEO Awards 2019. At the Made in Ghana Awards 2018, Nkulenu Industries Ltd won the best indigenous product of the year and also the product hall of fame for its flagship product Nkulenu’s Palm Soup Base. Evans is a Senior Manager in the Deal Advisory unit of KPMG Ghana and has over twelve (12) years of experience in transaction and corporate finance advisory. Evans has responsibility for leading many of the business review engagements and has over the years consulted for several companies in and outside Ghana. 

Since joining KPMG, Evans has been involved in providing project feasibility studies, business plans, financial and strategic management analysis, corporate valuation, financial due diligence, strategy formulation, financial model reviews, reporting accounting services, and diagnostic business reviews.

He was part of the KPMG team that published the “Economic Impact of Covid-19: The Ghanaian Perspective”. He also was a presenter during the webinar organised for the CFOs of banks on “How the banks can prepare and respond to the impact of Covid-19”. He also facilitated a webinar on the “Opportunities in Crisis” for a pool of SMEs organised by Invest in Africa.

He is a fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trusts. He holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s degree in Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
