Are you interested to explore fruit sourcing from Ghana &/or Cote d'Ivoire? Then register now for the virtual fruit buying tour and online meetings.
In response to the recent development on COVID-19 and imposed travel restrictions, Project Hortifresh™ (Embassy of the Netherlands in Ghana), the German Import Promotion Desk (IPD), Sense and NABC will organize a virtual fruit buying tour and online meetings to connect Dutch/European importers of fresh, dried, and frozen fruit as well as fruit juices & concentrates/puree with reliable suppliers from Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire.
During this virtual sourcing mission you will be introduced to reliable suppliers of fresh and processed fruit - fresh cut, dried
and frozen fruit as well as juice and concentrate - from this rapidly developing region. During introductory briefing calls with our experienced coaches you’ll be able to customise a short list of exporting companies
that you would like to meet.
Then you’ll have online B2B meetings with your short list. In these calls you will be able to familiarise yourself with their business operations, management and product range. And should you wish, you’ll be able to take things further. During the 'virtual mission' We will then arrange online meetings for you with the farm/ factory managers to further discuss business and product details (seasonality, varieties, quantities, etc.).
All suppliers that will be part of the virtual tour have been pre-selected by IPD or the business support team from Project HortiFresh™. This is based on rigorous assessment during company visits where we have checked product quality, capability and capacity for export.
Register today to get in contact with potential suppliers! The online B2B meetings will take place between the 22nd of June and 3rd of July. For more information, please click here to download the invitation here.
Participation is free of charge.
Kindly note that participation is only open to importers of fresh, dried, and frozen fruit as well as fruit juices/concentrates.
The virtual tour and meetings will be followed by an actual trade mission to Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire. We will announce a new date when the situation in both countries has improved.
