Description

The incoming mission is an initiative of the Tshwane Municipality Development agency, particularly interested in the sectors: automotive, health/ pharmaceutics and aerospace.

TEDA was established as a municipal entity of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality (CoT) in November 2006.  TEDA operates as a State-owned Company registered in terms of the Companies Act. TEDA was established with the primary objective to cultivate an environment within which the City of Tshwane (CoT) can grow its human capital and the economy through the facilitation, implementation and management of developments with a specific focus on economic development and Investment.

Seminar on the 19.02.2018 @ PwC Rotterdam:

Subject: Investment opportunities in the aerospace, pharmaceutical and automotive sector in Tshwane South Africa.
Objective: to inspire and inform investors, funding institutions and Dutch companies active in the above-mentioned sectors of the investment and business opportunities in Tshwane and facilitate business linkages between the TEDA delegation members and Dutch seminar participants.

Climate-smart agriculture by Bart van Eck, co-writer of the scoping study ‘Climate Smart Agriculture: How Dutch Technology can add value to the South African (emerging) farmer’, commissioned by the Netherlands Embassy in South Africa. This session will look at the use of water in agriculture/ horticulture, climate change (effects) and (Dutch) solutions to reduce water use.
