During the event, particular emphasis will be placed on (export) opportunities for Small and Medium-sized companies in Africa. The plenary part of the event will delve into the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) whilst doing business in Africa. The event will also focus on financial aspects, with one of the topics focusing on supporting exports to and investment in Africa, and also how financial risks in transactions can be avoided.
Consisting of 54 diverse countries, it is simply not possible to view the continent as one entity. Based on the input from the parties involved in the organization of the event, a series of roundtables will be organized with a focus on Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda and South Africa. These roundtables will feature country experts and entrepreneurs with practical knowledge of doing business in these countries with whom the attendees can engage in dialogue.
The roundtables will occur at the same time as each other and will be repeated twice to give attendees the chance to participate in two sessions in total.
During the event, there will be an area suited for some informal networking. Participants will be able to network with experts with strong knowledge of doing business in Africa. There will also be the opportunity to exchange mutual experiences concerning international business as a whole with the African continent.
Should your company be interested learning about business opportunities in Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda and South Africa, then you are most welcome to join us on Thursday 13th April in the Event Centre of the Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek.
