C. Steinweg was established in 1847 in Rotterdam, which is still the head office of the group. Now, about 165 years later the company has developed into a multinational organisation with worldwide more than 3000 employees in 90 offices, with our own warehouses and terminals in many locations.
Through this network Steinweg is able to fulfil the needs of their customers and provide the total logistic package with forwarding, stevedoring, chartering, warehousing, distribution, processing and customs services.
Steinweg operates modern multi-purpose terminals, equipped with heavy lift cranes and special storage accommodation for all kinds of commodities. Steinweg’s ocean terminals are in Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Genoa, Trieste, Sohar (Oman) and Baltimore.
