Zambia, a country of 18 million habitants in southern Africa, has long been known as a commodity-based economy but during this event you will also hear about other sectors, including tourism. Just like neighboring Zimbabwe there is an enormous potential for agriculture. Zambia’s GDP grew by 4 percent in 2018, but then fell to 1.4% in 2019 while the country’s GDP per capita stands at around USD 1.000. During the webinar, we will hear from the Zambian ambassador in Brussels, HE Esther Munalula Nkandu, the Dutch honorary consul in Lusaka, Mr. Sander Donker and a representative from the Zambia Development Agency
