Mali industrialization drive launched

Published on: 21-Apr-2018

BAMAKO - Industrialization is critical for the development of Mali and must therefore be stimulated. This was the key message of the Salon International de l'industrie du Mali that took place between April 19th and 21st.

The 'Salon' was a big event in Bamako, opened by president Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, in presence of ministers, members of the diplomatic community and a high-level representative from the government of Turkey, the key sponsor of this event.

After the official opening words, President IBK cut the ribbon and hundreds of visitors streamed towards the exhibition, that showcased dozens of Malian companies, included a Holland Pavillion, and highlighted numerous regions of Mali that presented themselves and the opportunities in their regions.

Do you want to know more about business opportunities in Mali? Watch this space or come to the Francophone Africa Business Forum on June 19th in The Hague, where approximately 100 companies from Mali will be present.
